it’s not even the busy period yet and there is already congestion in shed 4. Cargo cannot be found, long wait periods, mis-placed documentation – this is just the beginning. In my opinion this was a bad decision which will prove its self in another 2-3 weeks. as usual the powers that be engage themselves behind close doors and then deliver telling decisions to us which affect our livelihoods. i can’t help but think that this is part of a greater plan – when it gets really bad in the port where will the cargo go, who stands to benefit or lose? This makes for interesting thinking……….

Maybe its time the association agitate to set up our own shed…
The Barbados Port Inc. is suggesting a $25 per piece on all cargo being delivered from Shed #2…what is your take on this?
